Product details
The collector combines a slim stainless-steel frame with robust, continuous corners. Its seamless folded construction creates a unified edge with fewer exposed joints and a clean architectural finish. It is designed for suitable homes, cabins, garages and workshops with an appropriate sun-facing exterior wall. Actual performance depends on sunlight, orientation, shading, airflow, installation and the building itself.

Inside Fullblack
Not ordinary black-painted sheet metal. Fullblack uses a purpose-developed, selective super-absorber that captures sunlight while limiting heat radiation towards the colder front glass. Only 0.2 mm thick, it combines 95% solar absorptance with 5% thermal emittance. Its low thermal mass lets it respond immediately when the sun appears and transfer heat to circulating room air.
Ordinary black paint absorbs sunlight well, but also tends to emit heat strongly. A warmed black-painted sheet can therefore radiate substantial heat towards colder front glass, leaving less heat for the air. Limiting that loss matters especially in freezing weather.
Fullblack's super-absorber captures 95% of incoming solar radiation while its thermal emittance is just 5%. It absorbs short-wave sunlight strongly and limits long-wave heat radiation. These properties describe different wavelength ranges, not the overall efficiency of the collector.
An absorber must transfer heat quickly when the sun briefly breaks through. Fullblack's 0.2 mm super-absorber has very little mass to heat first, so it responds immediately when sunshine returns and passes heat to the circulating air. Even short sunny spells can contribute useful warmth.
